Chat Health for Parents and Carers

If you have a child between the ages of 0-19 and live in Leicester, Leicestershire or Rutland, you can text a public health nurse, health visitor, or school nurse via ChatHealth, a dedicated, secure text messaging service.

The ChatHealth service enables parents and carers to get confidential health advice and support on a whole range of issues, including:

• healthy eating
• child development
• emotional health
• behaviour difficulties and parenting concerns
• family health

The secure and confidential service is staffed Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm (excluding bank holidays). You’ll receive an automated message back to confirm that we have received your text, and then you’ll receive a text response within 24 hours.
