Letter of Hope
Dear friend,
You are not a burden. You are not broken. You are human – and like every human being, you deserve compassion, safety, and love. You don’t have to have it all figured out. Staying safe for now is enough.
We want you to know you are not alone. We’ve been where you might be right now – lost, exhausted, unsure if things will ever get better. We have experienced not wanting to be here anymore. Some of us have survived attempts to end our lives. But we’re still here – and that means healing is possible. We’re holding hope for you, until you can hold it for yourself.
Our journeys were different, but we all found ways to heal: being in nature, uplifting music, early nights, time with the ones we love. These moments didn’t fix everything. Healing isn’t always a straight line. There may be challenges or setbacks. But every step forward, no matter how small, is a victory. We’ve seen it. We live it. And we all agree that hope can change everything.
Please stay. Reach out. There will always be someone ready to listen, no matter what you are going through – whether it’s a trusted friend, a family member, or a support service.
You don’t need to have everything figured out or make big decisions right now. Staying safe for now offers another way – a chance to pause, to take a breath, and to give yourself time and space. That choice alone is an act of strength. There’s a future waiting for you that you can’t yet imagine – but it’s there. And you deserve to see it.
We hope you stay.
With warmth and solidarity,
