Outcome (Islington Mind LGBTQ+ Support)

Outcome is Islington Mind's specialist LGBTQI+ service – a safe, welcoming space for LGBTQI+ Londoners seeking support with their mental health. We provide a nonjudgmental environment where everyone is free to be themselves, with a variety of group activities and one to one support specifically tailored to LGBTQI+ individuals. Freedom From Fear to Love (FFFTL), is a part of our Outcome project. It offers a safe, inclusive space for LGBTQI+ individuals seeking asylum or granted refugee status on the grounds of their sexuality or gender identity. We provide emotional and practical support for those fleeing violence and persecution, navigating the UK asylum process, and adjusting to life in the UK. Our services include one to one crisis support, legal and benefits referrals, peer support, and specialist psychotherapy.

We combine intervention with local and national influencing work including training, campaigning, and partnership work to raise awareness and build capacity for better LGBTQI+ practice.
